For Narratologies Mobile App
Is the app free to download?
Yes, the Narratologies app is free to download. Hunts are purchased separately either through the app or on our website.
Where do I download the app from?
The app is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Simply search for “Narratologies” and download it for free.
How do I unlock a hunt I purchased through the website?
It depends on the type of experience you booked. For self-guided and remote Game Master hunts, you’ll receive an email with an unlock code and step-by-step instructions. Simply find the hunt in the app, tap “Unlock”, enter your code, and you’re ready to go. For hunts with a physical Game Master, download the app before your meeting time and your Game Master will provide the unlock code and help you get started together.
Do I need internet access to play?
Once you’ve downloaded the app and unlocked your hunt, you can play entirely offline, no mobile data or Wi-Fi needed during the experience.
Can I pause and continue a hunt later?
Yes! Your progress is automatically saved, so you can stop at any point and pick up exactly where you left off.
Does a purchase give me unlimited plays or just one?
Each hunt is designed as a single, complete experience. As you play, you earn gems that can be redeemed for gifts and rewards — making every moment of the hunt count. This ensures the experience stays fresh, rewarding, and meaningful from start to finish.
How do I contact support if I have a problem during a hunt?

For Team-Building Events
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking 2–5 weeks in advance to ensure availability. For fully customized experiences, 3–6 months is ideal, while ready-made experiences usually require 2–6 weeks. Last-minute corporate requests can sometimes be accommodated depending on availability.
What group sizes can you accommodate?
Our experiences are suitable for 10 to 200+ participants, divided into smaller teams to maximize engagement. For large corporate festivals or company celebrations, we can host 3,000+ participants through multiple activities running at the same time.
Can the experience be customized for our company?
Yes. We can tailor the experience to include your company values, branding, logos, colors, and event themes. Custom missions, storytelling elements, and branded materials can also be incorporated.
Are the activities suitable for international teams?
Yes. Our experiences are designed for multinational teams and can be conducted in English or other languages upon request. Our game masters speak English and their local language, and the game app supports more than five languages.
What happens in case of bad weather?
We always prepare an indoor adaptation or alternative activity when possible. In extreme weather conditions, the event can also be rescheduled.
Do you provide facilitators or hosts?
Yes. Our professional game masters and facilitators guide the experience, explain the rules, support the teams during gameplay, and coordinate the final results and awards.
Do participants need special equipment or skills?
No. Our experiences are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for all participants, regardless of fitness level or background.
Are the activities competitive or collaborative?
Both. Teams compete in friendly challenges while also engaging in moments of collaboration and problem-solving.
What team-building outcomes can participants expect?
Participants strengthen communication, collaboration, creative thinking, and problem-solving while building trust through shared challenges.
Is the experience suitable for mixed departments or new teams?
Yes. Our games work especially well for cross-department teams, new hires, and teams that rarely interact, helping them connect naturally through shared challenges.
How are winners determined?
Teams earn points by completing missions, solving clues, and participating in creative challenges. Scores are revealed at the end and the winning team is celebrated in a short closing ceremony.
Do you provide prizes or corporate gifts for the winning team?
Yes. We provide either Golden Wreaths as themed souvenir prizes as Narratologies or Winner Medals, and we can also arrange branded corporate gifts or custom souvenirs upon request.
What happens if the number of final participants changes?
We allow a maximum deviation of up to 20% from the confirmed number at least a week before the event. If fewer participants attend at the last minute, the original quoted price still applies, as logistics and preparation have already been completed.
What are the payment terms?
A 50% advance payment is required to confirm the booking, and the remaining 50% must be paid before the event.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellations more than 30 days before the event receive a full refund of the advance payment. Cancellations 15–30 days before the event receive a 50% refund of the advance payment. Cancellations less than 15 days before the event are non-refundable. In cases of force majeure, the event can be rescheduled to a mutually agreed date.
Do you provide insurance and safety coverage?
Yes. All our experiences operate under full safety protocols and social liability insurance. Narratologies is registered with the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), Registry Number 0261E60001006801.

For School Events & Educational Trips
What exactly is a hybrid treasure hunt/tour?
Our experiences combine learning with real-world exploration through a mobile app. Teams solve clues, complete challenges, and discover locations guided by both the app and a live Game Master who keeps the energy high and everyone on track.
How are students grouped?
Students are split into teams of 7–10, with each team accompanied by their own dedicated Game Master throughout the activity.
What devices do you need?
Each team uses one mobile device to run the app. If your school doesn’t have tablets available, we can provide them, just let us know when booking.
How many students can you accommodate?
We can scale to suit your group. Whether you have 30 or 300 students, we’ll assign the right number of Game Masters and teams to match.
Is the activity curriculum-linked?
Yes! All of our programmes are curriculum-linked. Get in touch to discuss how we can best align the experience with your learning objectives.
Do teachers need to participate?
Teachers are welcome to join a team, but must remain responsible for their class throughout the activity. Our Game Masters handle all of the facilitation, so teachers can focus on their students.

How do I redeem a Gift Card?
Simple! Purchase your gift card on this page and you’ll receive a unique code via email. Head to narratologies.com, select the experience your gift card is for, choose your date, time, and number of people, then click Book Now and enter your code at checkout. You’ll immediately receive an email with everything you need to start your adventure.
Can I use a Gift Card for any experience?
Yes! Value gift cards can be applied toward any experience available on our website. Just enter your code at checkout and the amount will be deducted from your total.
Do Gift Cards expire?
Narratologies Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. We recommend booking your experience well within that window so you have plenty of time to plan your adventure.
Can I buy Gift Cards in bulk for my team?
Absolutely. We offer bulk purchasing options for corporate clients with custom invoicing available. Get in touch with our team and we’ll put together a package that works for your group size and budget.
What if I lose my gift card code?
No worries, simply check your original purchase confirmation email. If you still can’t find it, reach out to us at support@narratologies.com and we’ll resend it to you.
Can I get a refund on a Gift Card?
Gift cards are non-refundable once purchased. However, if you need to reschedule an experience you’ve already booked, get in touch with our team and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
