Mission

Help Princess Flame rescue her imprisoned boyfriend Magas, in a quest based on the true story of a princess from the Iraqi royal family and a Greek rebetiko musician who fell in love and married in secret, inspiring the famous 1936 song. Starting at Omonoia Square, solve riddles about the Ottoman era, Greek music, and the legend of Magas and Flame. Collect gems at each stop and free yourself from the Sultan’s schemes by reaching the Madrasah Gate.

  1. Omonoia Square and Flame's Mission

    15 min

    Gather at Omonoia Square where Princess Flame greets your group. She tells you the story of her forbidden love with the Greek musician Magas and his capture by the Sultan. Learn about the 1936 song that immortalized their story. Receive your first clues about where the Sultan might have hidden Magas. Begin your rescue mission with the app and Flame’s guidance.

  2. Food Markets

    20 min

    Walk to the Varvakeios Central Market, a traditional market where merchants sell fresh produce and local specialties. Explore the market’s vibrant atmosphere and photograph traditional food displays.

  3. Psyri Neighborhood and Food Stop

    30 min

    Enter the charming Psyri neighborhood with its winding streets, galleries, and street art. Discover local cafes and boutiques hidden among old Ottoman buildings. Enjoy traditional bougatsa pastry.

  4. Roman Agora and Acropolis Views

    20 min

    Navigate to the final locations that provide unique views of the Acropolis. Visit the Roman Agora, an ancient marketplace rebuilt during Ottoman times. See the Madrasah Gate and other architectural remnants of Ottoman rule.

  5. Coronation Ceremony

    15 min

    Arrive at the final secret location where you free Magas and complete the rescue mission. Game masters announce the winners who earned the most gems. Winners receive prizes and vouchers from local shops and museums.

    Floga was really friendly and shared so much information and in a fun and exciting way. It was amazing for the children (ages 7 and 11) and adults as well. Highly recommended it, it is a really fun and interactive way to discover Athens city. Also enjoyed the snacks, really kept everyone going!

    Highly recommend for anyone that enjoys escape rooms and local insights discovery! A became a true local in the city, learning all its hottest corners. I was visiting Athens with my girlfriend and we really enjoyed it. Also enjoyed the local treats, yummy!

    Natasha is the best guide! She is brilliant and teaches you all sorts of things on the way. It’s a fun way to spend your day and most of the sites we saw ended up being our go-to places in the evenings throughout our trip. The app is fun and you get to explore on your own without being part of a bustling group. Highly recommend!
