Barbarossa began as a humble pirate but rose to command the formidable Ottoman Navy, becoming one of history’s most feared and respected naval commanders. Now it is your turn to prove your worth by solving the riddles he left behind and claiming the gems. Along the way, you will explore Mykonos’ most charming neighborhoods, from the enchanting Little Venice with its waterfront charm to the iconic windmills that overlook the island.
Mission
Begin your hunt in the heart of Mykonos Chora, the old town. You will visit 17 locations where Barbarossa hid his treasure. At each stop, solve a riddle or complete a challenge to earn a gem or clue. Your journey will take you through narrow winding alleys, past traditional whitewashed houses, and to stunning viewpoints. You will learn about the island’s history under Venetian and Ottoman rule. By the end, you will have collected all the gems and proven yourself worthy of Barbarossa’s treasure
