Travel from Athens to the island of Aegina to discover the flavors and traditions that made this place famous. Apollo, god of light and prophecy, guides you through charming towns, ancient temples, and pistachio farms. You will walk through historical museums and sacred archaeological sites while learning about the island’s rich heritage. Along the way, you will taste authentic pistachio treats and local specialties that represent centuries of island tradition. This full day journey blends history, culture, and culinary discovery into one memorable experience.

Your mission

Follow Apollo’s guidance to unlock the secrets of Aegina. Start at Aigina Port and visit the Chapel of St. Nicholas, the Temple of Apollo at Kolona, the Archaeological Museum, the Tower of Markellos, the Historical and Folklore Museum, local pistachio shops, and the Cathedral of Aigina. At each stop, solve puzzles and search for treasures that reveal the island’s story. Taste traditional pistachio sweets and other local foods along the way. Take photos at the port promenade and the Sanctuary of Apollo to complete your mission.

  1. Journey to Aegina

    90 min

    Meet at the Athens starting point and take a luxury coach to Piraeus. Board the ferry to Aegina with your group. Arrive at Aigina Port, where your adventure begins. Apollo welcomes you and explains your mission to find his treasures.

  2. City of Aegina Exploration

    60 min

    Visit the Chapel of St. Nicholas and K. Varotsos sculpture. Explore the Floating Vogiatzis Mansion and discover the history of pistachio farming at the Fystikato museum. Learn about the Pistachio Tree and its importance to the island. Solve puzzles at each location to collect gems.

  3. Food Stop and Temple Discovery

    30 min

    Take a break at the Municipal Theater of Aegina where you can enjoy traditional pistachio sweets and refreshments. Continue to the Temple of Apollo at the Archaeological Site of Kolona. Visit the tower ruins and enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and the ancient sanctuary.

  4. Free time & Swimming in the Sea

    60 min

    Enjoy your free time shopping, taking a swim in the sea, relaxing on the beach, exploring local cafés and restaurants, going on a sightseeing walk, or simply unwinding with a refreshing drink under the sun!

  5. Coronation Ceremony and Return to Athens

    90 min

    Gather at the Cathedral of Aigina for the final celebration. The game masters announce the winners and hand out prizes and vouchers from local shops and museums. Return to Piraeus by ferry and then travel back to Athens by luxury coach.
