Our most beloved treasure hunt takes you through Plaka and Anafiotika, the most charming and historic neighborhoods of Athens. Wander through cobblestone alleys, discover ancient monuments like the Monument of Lysicrates and the Tower of the Winds, climb to the Areopagus hill with panoramic views, and explore hidden courtyards and whitewashed houses nestled beneath the Acropolis. Along the way, meet our game masters who will guide you through hidden corners and treat you to traditional Lukumades, Greek donuts enjoyed for thousands of years.

Your mission

Two mighty Olympian gods, Poseidon the God of the Sea and Athena the Goddess of Wisdom, are battling for the right to name the city. Each god must offer the citizens a unique gift, and the people must decide which offering is worthier. Help Athena find the perfect gift to win this legendary battle. Meet our game master at the legendary Lukumades shop, solve mythology-based puzzles, collect gems along the way, and lead your team to the final verdict: which god is most worthy of becoming the city’s protector?

Absolutely fantastic! My sister, son (10) and I had fun solving the riddles, learning history, getting lost at times, and saw many sides of Athens that I think we would not have seen otherwise. It started raining during this tour, but our coordinator Maria encouraged and guided us through it all. She was wonderful!

Excellent point-to-point treasure hunt through nooks and crannies of Athens, some of which are actually unknown even to locals.

This was such a FUN experience and awesome way to round up our trip to Athens. Our guide, Maria, was amazing! She has so much knowledge about Athens, Greece, Mythology, the Balkins, art and history in general. We learned so much from her. She was also super awesome in that she was so patient with us taking such a long time as we had our toddler with us. This activity is unique, relaxed and so informative! 100% recommend!
