We did this Treasure Hunt as a corporate event and was so much fun! The street art included was impressive and varied. During the tour there was also a street-food stop which was a nice touch. All in all a great evening, thank you!

The art included was fantastic. We had no idea that Athens has such an incredible street art scene. As for the riddles, they were quite straightforward. We only struggled a bit with a riddle at the start, but our facilitator quickly messaged us the answer in seconds.

About ten years ago, in Berlin, I attended a wonderful Street Art walking tour that took us around the central part of the city and areas of Kreuzberg. Main point of interest was the street art and graffiti.

That day I wondered if I could ever find something similar in Athens.

Well, I got my answer today, with the Athens’ Heroes Street Art Graffiti Treasure Hunt.

The tour started off at Monastiraki Square, where we were welcomed by the organisers, and took us all around the centre of Athens. We visited unknown sidestreets and alleyways so close to central locations, yet hidden from the common eye, following the footsteps of legendary dog Loukanikos.

We stumbled upon vibrant mural paintings so intricately intertwined with the socio-economic history of the past 10 years.

All in all, it was an extremely enjoyable and eye-catching hunt with some challenging riddles. Anyone comfortable wandering off the beaten track should definitely experience this Graffiti Treasure Hunt.
